What image format is required for engraving?

If you require your engraving in black and white then image file sent to be engraved should be in a solid black and white color. That is 2 color pallet with no gray scale like this, like this, or like this.
This is because Smoothgift needs only two colors with which to engrave (black and white).

You can convert your texts and images to be engraved to the required black and white using the tool "Design this product image or your photos here!". This tool is available on every product page on this website.

If you require your engraving in color, then you can send image file in color or in black and white indicating what color you wish.
